Sold this home back in 2022. It was going for $399,000 but was on the market for months. The day my client and I went to see it, she was sure the home was for her. The only issue was she didn't feel like the price was around what she wanted. She wanted a substantial amount taken off, and my colleagues at the time thought what I was doing was crazy and impossible. During negotiations, I got the sellers to drop the price to $349,500. I remember being told multiple times not to be surprised when the transaction fell through but being the positive person I am, I didn't listen. Closing day, I remember how shocked people were and how proud I felt to close, knowing I gave my client my all. The lesson is sometimes you have to ignore what people are saying because it comes from a place of fear.
