Karen, Virginia, and Gloria graciously dedicated their afternoon to brightening our front porch, contributing to a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere through the planting of some beautiful young plants they picked up for us at the farmer's market. StoneRidge had three sets of fierce competitors in the annual "Not So Newlywed Games." Left to right, we had Larry and Kathy, Don and Alice, and Bill and Mary Lou competing for the title. Each couple had to answer questions and trivia about their daily lives. After a grueling matchup, we decided to crown them all champions! Each had their own unique tastes and style for their chili. Jill won on a secret ballot; but the residents are all calling for a congressional investigation! Karen and Alice were part of the group that took a day trip to Celebrity Dairy in Siler City. Everybody had a great day and enjoyed the weather and the animals. We don't know though; it looks like these two goats enjoyed the visit more than the others!
