Basement wall rehab.

Had to use some of that cool stuff you see on TV to paste back some concrete that had fallen off when cleaning the wall. This 1937 house has some good bone, but this section of wall has seen better days. The old drywall was moist, the braces were rotting, and the floor trim was water damaged. I sealed the wall with the TV product advertised by Phil and used treated wood mounted to the wall so I could mount Sheetrock onto it. The sealer stopped the leaks and well as their brand of caulk in a particular area. I used a purple Sheetrock product designed for damp spaces and here are the photos to share. Sorry, I didn’t take a final photo, but it turned out well.
