Another amazing time at the MacGregor Downs Pretty In Pink Classic, and every year I leave reminded of what truly matters.

Last night’s dinner and silent auction brought an incredible two days of golf, tennis, and pickleball to a close. It was a wonderful evening with amazing people—but the stories shared were the heart of it all. Hearing from those facing not only the fight of their lives, but also the financial burden of lifesaving treatment, is deeply moving. Their courage puts so many of our own struggles into perspective.

Pretty In Pink Foundation helps uninsured and underinsured breast cancer patients throughout North Carolina receive the quality, lifesaving medical care they need, regardless of their ability to pay.

A heartfelt thank-you to Heather, Tara, Jenn, Erin, and the many sponsors, volunteers, participants, donors, and MacGregor Downs team members who made another successful event possible. Because of their hard work and generosity, more lives will be positively impacted.

I am grateful to play a small part in such a meaningful cause—and we had a great time supporting it together with great friends and colleagues.

If you’ve had the pleasure of eating at K-38 Baja Grill, Tower 7, Las Olas or even Kiva Grill back in the day and live in the Triangle…you’re in luck! K-38 is now located in downtown Cary on Chatham Street and couldn’t be better. From the guac to the Tower Seven burrito accompanied with a spicy margarita…it’s all just as good as it is on the coast. So if in the Triangle or visiting, a stop at K38 Baja Grill is a must!

Two families. Two different states. One new chapter here in North Carolina!

Recently, I had the privilege of helping the Lightcap family relocate from Pennsylvania to Raleigh and the Heltsley family find their way to Cary after discovering me through social media. Every relocation to a new state is different, but both journeys were built on trust, communication, and a shared goal of finding the right place to call home.
