We've updated a list of 26 farms in and near the Triangle where you can pick your own strawberries! The strawberry crops are showing up a little early this year on many of these farms, so check the list!

Picking your own produce is a great activity because it teaches kids where their food comes from and is a fun family outing. Plus, you can freeze or otherwise preserve produce in-season, and enjoy it for months!

BTW, we also have info in the list about u-pick blueberry, blackberry, peach, apple, season (and more.) But strawberry season is first!

[Apr. 5] Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt (and bacon for adults) at Calvary Presbyterian Church

Calvary Presbyterian Church is hosting Neighborhood Egg Hunt tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon.
The event is free, and while the kids are busy with the hunt, there’s a little something extra for the grown-ups, too... bacon! 🥓

Lunar New Year Festival with TACAS rescheduled to March 14

It's the year of the Horse! The Triangle’s largest Chinese New Year celebration returns in 2026! Celebrate the year of the horse!

🗓️ March 14
⏰ From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m
📍Dorton Arena at the North Carolina Sate Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC.
💲Tickets are $10 in advance and $13 at the door. Kids under age 6 are admitted for free.
