After this week we’ll likely see a rise in defensively designed homes. This is an interesting example of one of the few houses in LA that survived the fires thanks to smart passive design choices (and some luck).

important LDO changes being introduced to Franklin County!

Town of Youngsville wants to increase the townhome height to 40 feet. " Townhomes are one of the most popular proposed uses in Youngsville, and the current 25’ height limit has proven to be lower than industry standard for two- to three-story townhomes. To encourage a mix of housing types, the Town may lift minimum code standards that are still in line with the Town’s priorities." Public hearing is scheduled for this Thursday

As we sat & ate four "outta towners' came in & stumbled over what to order.

"What comes on the BBQ Dinner." " Is it pulled pork?" "Do y'all have brisket?", they asked with pressed slacks, button down dress shirts & color cordinated Cole Haans.

We started to speak up, but you know, men & their fickle pride, always having to look cool & like they know what's going on.

Kinda like when you gave Grandpa that iPad when they first came out, but it just sat in the box because he didn't know how to use it & aint no way in hell a man that served 2 missions overseas is going to ask no wippersnapper for help. 🤣
