540 Update! 🚗 🚙 🚐 🚛 Woohooooo! Did you know the VERY LONG AWAITED section of I-540 from current Hwy 55 at the Apex/Holly Springs border all the way to I-95/US 70 at the edge of Raleigh/Garner will open WEDNESDAY MORNING AT 6AM! This is according to the DOT website, still as of today. This will make our commuting around the southern part of the Triangle and trips toward the beach so much easier! 😎🥳 - The remainder of the loop (from I-40 to I-87 Wendell/Knightdale) projected completion in 2028.

We visited the newly opened Fratelli's Delicatessan in Sweetwater for lunch yesterday. What a nice addition to Apex! I was impressed with their entrance, display cases, vast menu and the seating options. Dave, one of the owners, was quick to greet us and offer help.
