WOW! We had an absolute blast celebrating our 20th Annual Chili Cook-Off last night at The Village Green, co-hosted with the Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce!

From delicious chili and a little friendly competition to an incredible turnout from our community, it was a night to remember!

Good call by The Village Green. We hope everyone stays safe during the storm. We'll be there until 5 today and still have cookies to share.

We've been in communication with Jackson County Emergency Management regarding the incoming severe weather. A high wind warning has been issued from midnight tonight to Sunday at 8 AM with wind gusts up to 60 mph and average sustained winds of 45 mph. In order to ensure everyone's safety, it is with heavy hearts that we have made the decision to cancel the remaining two days of the festival. It is unfortunately not logistically possible to load everyone out on Friday, and load back in on Sunday when the severe weather has subsided. A festival of this size and the configuration of our grounds requires a full day for load in. We greatly appreciate everyone who still joined us in spite of the grim weather forecast. We truly wish that we could continue with the festival, but must ensure everyone's safety above all else. We're so proud of the incredible mix of vendors that we bring together and hope that you will be able to join us in the future.

What We Love About Your Next Chapter

Some homes are built beside a river. This one was built to listen to it.

The Horsepasture runs the length of 1.44 private acres here, and the sound of it never fully leaves the house — it moves from the sun room to the breakfast room to the decks on both levels, steady, year-round, always there.
