Today I attended a continuing education class on VA loans hosted by the American Warrior Initiative, and it was one of the best CE classes I've been to in my real estate career. The men and women who protect our freedom deserve an agent who knows their benefits inside and out. Staying informed is my commitment to every current and future veteran client. 🇺🇸

A huge thank you to the American Warrior Initiative for partnering with Project Kenny, a local organization that trains dogs to become service dogs for veterans. 🐕

We were also honored to hear from the mother of fallen soldier Aaron Vaughn. Hearing her speak was incredibly rewarding, because his story was a book I read shortly after having my son. It meant so much to hear it from her in person.

Some of the best things in life are happy accidents. 🌲

While exploring the mountain, my clients stumbled onto a spot that stopped them in their tracks. It wasn't on the plan, and it turned out to be the one.

A client recently told me he wanted 40 acres in Wyoming so he could shoot right off the front porch. I love the enthusiasm, but here's the truth: we still have rules out here, and we take safety seriously.

If you're buying land to hunt, here's the basics:

🦌 Seasons depend on the species and the hunt area. Dates, tags, and limits vary a lot, so don't assume you can hunt anywhere just because a season is open.
📖 Read the regulations for your species. Game and Fish recommends reading the full regulation brochure for whatever you're hunting.
🪪 Know what licenses, tags, and hunter education you need before you go.
🚧 Get permission before hunting private land, and know where public land access is.
📍Know your boundaries and your neighbors. Homes, roads, and livestock all matter.
🔒 Safety comes first, every time.

Land that's great for hunting comes down to access, neighbors, and what you're allowed to do on it. I'm happy to help you sort that out before you buy.
