Fulltime maintenance technician M-F 8:00 –5:00 emergency on call every other week. Hourly wage DOE
127 unit apartment community. Candidate will be responsible for timely physical completion of all duties, work and documentation necessary to maintain and repair grounds, buildings and equipment of the property. Must have a current driver’s license and vehicle insurance. Physical completion of work to include the safe lifting, moving and installing of items weighing up to at least ninety (90) pounds. Must be able to undergo a background check and pass a drug screening.
Responsible to provide property with 24 hour on-call emergency maintenance according to an every other week schedule.
Responsible to contribute to the well-being of the property through honesty, integrity and pride in appearance and a positive attitude toward fellow staff and residents.
Additional responsibilities:
Preventive maintenance: daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly.
Corrective maintenance: handle work orders in a timely manner, and must be able to prioritize by level of urgency.
Unit turnover: must be able to identify tasks of a particular unit and complete a turn within the number of days set by community manager.
Grounds keeping: Must be willing to do snow removal in the common areas, stairs, sidewalks including weekends and early morning hours.
Buildings and common areas, including daily trash removal, parking lots, lighting inspections and delivering resident information and/or notices on doors as needed.
Purchase and obtain parts, supplies, tools, or services w/ management approval only. Make part runs as needed. Work with vendors, company personnel, inspectors, etc. as warranted.
