“Shaken or Stirred” resonates with me now, as we are renovating our lower level to become a very intentional “Polo Lounge”. The bar/lounge will display everything about polo: saddles, tack, boots, trophies, artwork and the mood of horses (including 12 Strong Bourbon!)

It starts with hiring the right design group who understands the vision! Blush Kitchens Co. has been with us since the beginning and they get it! The demo has taken 30 days, and it was a MESS but so satisfying because we have not enjoyed our basement for 7 years! Next steps are to put it back together! Here’s an inspo photo + the mess! Next up, the clean up and first steps to the ultimate vision.

Excitement on Steroids! We introduced Hadley to Aunt Sami’s life in Chicago over the weekend, and we are sore from laughing! Sami curated the most amazing 72-hour exhaustive tour focused solely on a 7-year-old (except for happy hour!). Most of the weekend, we all acted 7 years old…why not?! I don’t know how we’ll top it for an 8-year-old, but we are definitely going back for more!
