Mr. Chen served as President and Owner of Plum Creek Golf & Country Club and Plum Creek Villages, a 500 acre residential community surrounding the golf course here in Castle Rock, CO, where he was also a member of various local economic development organizations.

Plum Creek Golf Club opened in 1984 and was the home of the Senior PGA Tours. It was designed by Pete Dye who in 2005 became the sixth recipient of the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award. In the 2000s John Chen sold his Plum Creek estates & properties to various developers, but still is credited as the visionary creator of this beautiful and luxurious neighborhood in the heart of Castle Rock! ⭐
