🏡 WAITING FOR INTEREST RATES TO DROP? READ THIS FIRST.

Yes, interest rates are higher than buyers would like. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad time to buy.

Right now, buyers may have something they haven’t always had: CHOICES and NEGOTIATING POWER.🤌🏽

More inventory can mean:
🏡 More homes to choose from
💰 More room to negotiate
🤝 Less competition on some properties
📋 Opportunities to ask for seller concessions
❤️ More time to find the home you actually LOVE

Here’s the part I want buyers to think about…

If rates come down, you may not be the only buyer who decides it’s finally time to start looking. More buyers entering the market can mean more competition, less negotiating power, and potentially upward pressure on home prices.

So instead of only asking, “What’s the interest rate?”

Ask yourself, “What opportunity do I have as a buyer right now?”

You can potentially refinance a mortgage later if rates fall and it makes financial sense. But you can’t go back and buy today’s house at today’s price after the market changes.

Yesterday after church, Maine and I decided to stay local and enjoy our beautiful little town. ❤️

A hike at Rock Park, some time downtown, and of course we had to go check out the new Longhorn sculptures! 🐂⛰️

I’ve called Castle Rock home for almost 20 years, and somehow I still find myself looking around thinking, we are so blessed to live here.

The trails, the views, our downtown, the community, and days like this with my little man… Castle Rock has so much to offer.

Sometimes the best adventures are right in your own backyard. ❤️
