The graph below shows office attendance in 10 large US cities since the beginning of the pandemic. The good news is that we are slowly trending up. The bad news is that we're still at about HALF of the pre-pandemic office use.

The impacts of this on the residential home selling process will take time to see. But it's important to clarify that this is a result of the near monopoly that NAR has held with MLS. The same monopoly does not exist in the commercial real estate market.

The National Association of Realtors will also change its rules over commissions and the MLS platforms.
