As a former engineer, Karla earned a BS in Applied Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She thoroughly enjoys the outdoors and spends her free time snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, paddle boarding, biking, and camping with her family. She lives in Parker with her husband, two daughters and Welsh Corgi, Max. Karla is constantly giving back to the community via volunteering at her neighborhood school, sorting medical supplies at Project C.U.R.E., and serving as VP of the Douglas County Zonta International.
