Three Castro Valley sales this month—
and three very different stories!
Two of our buyers had been looking for property in Castro Valley for nearly five years. This month, their patience finally paid off. Both were able to write successful offers without facing the intense competition we saw in the post-COVID market. The Upper Castro Valley home sold in 7 days with 3 offers, even with its location and many upgrades. Another buyer client found a special rural property that attracted several interested buyers, but their offer won out and the property closed escrow last week.
On the seller side, our clients had retired and were moving down the coast. The buyers who ultimately purchased their home had seen it at our very first open house and loved it—they just needed a little time to put their offer together.
It’s a good reminder that while the market is not as competitive as it was a few years ago, desirable homes can still attract strong interest. And for buyers who have been patient, there are opportunities to purchase without the intense competition we saw in the past.
