Lately I've been thinking about how often we confuse *more* with *better.*

A few years ago, I owned a gorgeous home with a huge yard and a casita-but it was in the wrong city for me.

A couple of years ago, Chris lived in nearly 2,700 square feet.

And you know what we both learned?

The rooms you don't use still need to be cleaned.

The yard you don't enjoy still needs to be maintained.

The space that doesn't fit your life is still space you're paying for.

So when it came time to choose a home for our next chapter, we didn't choose the biggest house we could afford.

We chose the one that fit.

The one with the pool we'll actually use.

The outdoor space where we can picture spending our evenings.

The layout that makes sense for the way we live.

Because after living in homes that looked great on paper, we've realized something:

The best house isn't always the biggest one.

It's the one that supports the life you want to build inside it.

That's something I wish more buyers considered before they start counting bedrooms and square feet.💛💛🩵🩵

Lately I've been thinking about how often we confuse *more* with *better.*

A few years ago, I owned a beautiful semi-custom home with a huge yard and a casita—but it was in the wrong city.

A couple of years ago, Chris lived in nearly 2,700 square feet or something like that.

One of the unexpected things about being a Realtor is that you start paying attention to how people actually live.
The road trips.
The concerts.
The favorite coffee shop.
