Without a clear plan in place, I’m curious to see how Trump’s economic policies will affect the housing market. He promised to slash inflation and bring mortgage rates as low as 3%, despite not having any direct control over rates. We’ve only recently seen a slight shift away from the extreme seller’s market of the last few years, and are still below a historically balanced level of housing inventory. Unless supply also rises drastically, increasing demand by slashing mortgage rates could result in another period of extreme appreciation similar to what we saw in 2020-2023.

Inflation has slowed to 2.1% this year, which is right where it needs to be, but Trump’s tariff plan threatens to reverse the downward trend. Tariffs across the board will likely increase the cost of materials and labor for manufacturing companies, which historically tend to be passed on to consumers in the form of increased prices and job cuts. If inflation does trend upward, the Fed will seek to find balance by increasing rates rather than making further reductions.

Overall, there are no definitive plans to address the root cause of the current issues in the housing market, which is a lack of new inventory. What do you think?

Another family served āœ…

July was a great month for helping growing families.

This young couple bought their first house in 2021, when the market was extremely competitive. They felt they had to make some compromises in order to get a house, a feeling many people who bought in the last few years can relate to.

When they found out they were expecting their first child, making sure they had space for their growing family became priority number one. They also wanted to make sure they didn’t sacrifice this time around, and that their next home checked all the boxes. As soon as they set foot in this house, they knew it was the one. So I got to work.

Keeping their priorities in mind, I was able to negotiate for the seller to assist with their closing costs so they were able to maximize the amount of money they kept in their pockets. With the help of , they were able to structure their purchase so that they didn’t have to sell their first home and were able to rent it instead. In one transaction, they now have the perfect home for their growing family and are creating generational wealth with their first investment property.

Helping families get into their dream home is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do. Being able to assist them on the road to financial freedom at the same time makes this one of the most exciting and memorable transactions I’ve been a part of.

I want to share a heartwarming story that illustrates why I love what I do.

Last November, this young family welcomed their first child into the world – a beautiful baby girl who instantly became the center of their universe. Like many new parents, they found themselves reassessing their priorities and lifestyle.

Living in bustling Scottsdale at the time, they decided to move back to the wife’s hometown to be close to her family. They considered resale homes, but ultimately decided that new construction was the right move for them.

Throughout the process, I advocated for their best interests, ensuring the builder fulfilled their promises and met deadlines. After all, with a new baby, timing is everything! We were able to secure them 3% in incentives from the builder, which they were able to use towards their closing costs and keep more money in their pockets. I also coordinated a thorough pre-close inspection to catch any potential issues before move-in day, giving them peace of mind on their new investment.

As they received the keys to their beautiful new home, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and joy. They are now closer to their support system and ready to create countless memories in a home that’s perfect for their growing family.
