I love the little things that make Arizona feel like Arizona. 🌵.

These barrel cacti stopped me in my tracks on my walk today—the bright red blooms, all that yellow fruit🍍 The desert has a way of putting on a show when you slow down long enough to notice it. 🙏

These are fishhook barrel cacti, named for their curved spines. 🌵 Unlike many Arizona cacti that bloom in spring, these late bloomers flower red and orange in late summer. The bright yellow shapes around the top are fruit—not unopened flowers! 🍍

I love seeing the flowers and fruit together ❤️

Not even a year ago she couldn’t canter him… and now she’s confidently jumping him like this 💫🐎

Chino is my horse—and he is NOT an easy ride. He can pull down and build like a freight train 🚞… and here she is, absolutely crushing it.

I used to think she made it look effortless on Tuley too—but after riding him myself, I quickly realized he’s WAY harder to jump than he looks 😅

Watching my 11-year-old grow into such a brave, determined, and capable rider has been incredible. Getting to share this journey together means everything ❤️

Some days are about real estate… and some days are about the moments that matter most 🤍🐴

Today my 11-year-old daughter and I had our first cross-country schooling together at Pinnacle West, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it. Watching her ride with confidence, take on new challenges, and truly fall in love with the sport reminds me why we do this.

Avery and Tuley were incredible—jumping everything from starter through beginner novice like pros. And Chino and I dusted off the cobwebs and had a blast getting back out there together.

This journey isn’t just about horses—it’s about building grit, trust, and a bond that only grows stronger every ride.

April Fools’ Day: Mom vs Daughter Edition 🤣🎈

I kicked things off by filling her closet with balloons so when she opened it… instant balloon explosion 😂 (and of course the dog had to join in popping them 🐶💥)

But she came back strong—putting toilet paper eyes on the stove and TP “smoke” coming out of the oven 😭🔥
