🚧 Development Update: Cave Springs

Big changes appear to be on the horizon at the corner of Ford Road and Highway 264, directly across from Lakeview Baptist Church and in front of the Brentwood community.

According to plans submitted to and approved through the city process, the proposed Summerlin Village development would include:

🏘️ 8 townhome buildings
🏠 34 residential units total
🏢 Commercial space along Highway 264
🛣️ A future connection from Sunset Street in Brentwood through the development to Highway 264

The site plans also show two commercial spaces along the highway frontage. While I’ve heard a restaurant may be considered for part of the development, future tenants have not been officially announced and plans can always change.

From what I’m hearing, construction could begin as early as July.

Looking for something fun to do this weekend?

Mudtown Days is happening in Lowell, and after talking with a neighbor at the pool, I learned this is one of those events families come back to year after year.

Her favorite part? The free bounce houses and free face painting. She said her kids have an absolute blast every time they go.

There’s still plenty to enjoy this weekend, including:

Car show
Pet show
Pony rides & petting zoo

Free bounce houses
Live music & concerts

The wait is over… The Foundry is officially open.

What has been a recognizable historic buildings on Main Street in Cave Springs has been completely transformed into something truly special for this community.

But this Saturday is about more than just a gym opening. It’s about seeing the vision, the restoration, and the incredible attention to detail that went into bringing this space back to life.
