How many times have you attended an event at the Cayucos Vet's Hall? Weddings, concerts, events, memorial services...? The Vet's Hall has been closed since 2016 and the community of Cayucos can really use your help and support to get the hall restored and reopened as an even better venue than before! Please consider a contribution or commitment today.

Closed in May 2016, help us secure funds to restore the Cayucos Vet's Hall -the social, economic, and historic heart of Cayucos.

It's the news we've all been waiting for...the Cayucos fireworks show is officially a go! Permits are in-hand. Just a few short days away. 🇱🇷
Here's what you'll want to know about the day's activities:
- Early risers can join in the Sand Sculpture contest. Arrive 4am-5am and wrap up by 10am. Prizes for adults and kids.
- 10am-6pm Front Street Faire shopping and food vendors
- Lions Club BBQ (check back at the soon for confirmed time)
- 9pm (as dusk allows) Fireworks at the pier! No tickets necessary. (No VIP experience this year...likely to return next year.) Smaller-scale show, but sure to please.
- IMPORTANT: If you're visiting Cayucos on the 4th, do your part to keep illegal fireworks away, park only in legal spots, pack out your trash, respect everyone's safe space, practice the latest COVID safety recommendations, and celebrate responsibly. We, like so many other members of the community, were devastated to hear about the loss of our next door neighbor. Our hearts go out to Rick, the “boys”, and the entire Roquet family. Becky will be so dearly missed and fondly remembered. Sending all of our love from SeeLyon 💗

The Roquet family is heartbroken to announce that on June 22, 2021, our family, friends, and Cayucos lost the most wonderful woman and our matriarch, Rebecca Roquet (Party, Becky, Beck).

She loved her family more than life itself and we loved her even more. Rick, her boys (Rusty and Rocky), daughter-in-laws (Renée and Ali), grandbabies, as she called them, (Rooney + Henley, Reese + Ryan), brothers and sister, and extended family (she always said, if you’re friends, you’re family) will forever miss her larger than life personality and her heart of gold. She would do anything, for anyone, at any time. She spent her life taking care of her family, entertaining thousands of guests, and loved herself a good margarita on the patio.

Her happy place was tending to her garden and clipping the grass by hand with scissors, while listening to talk radio and chatting with guests. We find comfort in imagining her wandering and admiring the flawless gardens where she is now.

Services will be held in the coming weeks and we will announce a date here soon. We know many people loved Rebecca, and we want to include everyone in her celebration of life.

We also appreciate your patience with us, as we are deeply feeling her absence here at the motel.
