📅 A joint Board of Education meeting for the Cazenovia and Morrisville-Eaton school districts is set for Monday, October 5, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

It will take place in The Little Theater inside the Student Activities Center at SUNY Morrisville.

The topic is “School Merger Study Results and Next Steps.” Both school boards will see the results of the merger study for the first time at this meeting.

Planned agenda items include:
* An overview of the merger study process so far
* A presentation of the study’s results
* Board members’ questions and answers
* Time for public comments
* Board discussion
* Laying out the “next steps” after hearing the results

A noninteractive livestream will be available through the Cazenoviacsd website & click on Mtg Schedule - link to livestream is there.

Residents can send in questions before the meeting using an online form linked on both districts’ websites. Questions must be submitted no later than October 1.

Community members may either attend in person at SUNY Morrisville’s Little Theater or watch the livestream to follow the discussion about the merger study and what may come next for both districts
