This will forever and always rank high on my professional 'core memory' moments...

Meet Bryan and Brooke (and fam!). We've been house hunting on and off for years. Not kidding. YEARS! Sometimes the right house just takes time to find...kind of like finding a spouse. 😉

A few weeks after closing I received a text from Bryan: "Hey favorite Realtor ever, would you be around at 9AM tomorrow? I just want to throw Brookie off."

Bryan was planning a surprise engagement ask of Brooke. He was going to have me bring this "Sold" sign over when all the kids were home, and as I was taking pictures he was going to get down on one knee and propose. EXCEPT...he may have shared this idea with his daughter via text and Brooke may have accidentally read it!

He jumped to Plan B but not before continuing with the original plan to throw her off. His words to me "I think she thinks I'm dumb enough to stick to the plan she read about."

Wing Woman Realtor here to swoop in, group text like nothing suspicious is happening, schedule the house pictures and play into this whole facade to keep Brooke guessing. I know Brooke well enough to know that with every picture I took that morning and with any ask if she wanted to proof the picture angle, that she was waiting for Bryan to present that ring. Watching the anticipation was priceless!

Although Brooke didn't step off this stoop a fiancée, she did end the day as one!

Real Estate isn't just about home closings. It's about people trusting you to literally be a part of their story and at the end of the day, that's the highest compliment anyone could ever receive.
