Melissa Hardman loves her job and is excited to help you find just the right home. Melissa's friendly demeanor, strong sense of professionalism, and deep knowledge of the area helps make the buying and selling process a positive, smooth experience. She specializes in assisting first-time home buyers and those interested in new construction.
Melissa first moved to the Cedar Valley in 2000 as a university student and stayed to raise a family. For years, she's been committed to serving the community. Her previous career was in school counseling and social work. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's of Education degree in School Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa.
Clients often describe Melissa as easy to talk to, patient, and helpful. She responds to questions quickly and is a good mediator (that's where her background in counseling kicks in). When Melissa isn't working, she loves reading, being outside, and attending her children’s sporting events. She’s also active in the community as a board member for Friends of the Family.
