So true!

There’s a quiet kind of heartbreak in realizing
that the people you love will not always exist
together in the same chapter of your life.

Right now, it can all feel ordinary,
family dinners, random conversations,
missed calls you think you can return later,
everyone existing at once in a way
you almost assume will last.

But one day, life changes the room.

People move away.
People grow older.
People get busy.
People drift apart.
And sometimes, people leave this world entirely.

And suddenly, the moments
that once felt small
become the moments
you would give anything to hold again.

That is the cruel beauty of love:

we rarely understand the value of a moment
while we are still inside it.

We notice it fully only after time has touched it,
after absence has made it glow,
after memory has turned something simple
into something sacred.

The ordinary moments are never really ordinary.

They are proof that,
for one brief stretch of time,
your people were here,
your heart was full,
and life let you exist inside a kind of magic
you didn’t yet know was rare.

So if you still have people you love around you,
even imperfectly,
even in passing,
even in routines that feel repetitive,
cherish them.

Sit a little longer.
Call back.
Take the picture.
Listen more carefully.
Be softer in the moment.

Because one day,
you may look back and realize
those ordinary days
were never ordinary at all.

They were the rarest kind of magic.
