Tree Trimming Notice from MidAmerican Energy

MidAmerican Energy Company will be conducting tree trimming work near electric lines in Waterloo in the coming weeks to help ensure safe and reliable electric service for our community.

What to expect:

Affected properties will receive a notification by mail at least 14 days before work begins

Approximately two days prior, residents will receive a courtesy phone call

On the day of service, crews will knock on the door to explain the work being done

Work areas are shown on the map provided by MidAmerican Energy

Why this work matters:
Regular tree trimming helps prevent power outages and improves public safety by keeping vegetation clear of electrical infrastructure.
