I've been blessed with three remarkable children, each facing the challenges of Usher Syndrome, a rare degenerative syndrome that causes deafness and blindness. A native Texan, born and raised in West Texas, I've called Austin home since 1989. I've been happily married for over 36 years, raising my three sons and a Goddaughter in Leander ISD, with a track record of success. Now, our three sons are happily married, and we are blessed with a granddaughter and four grandsons. In my free time, I cherish moments with my family, including our three lovable dogs. Cooking and baking are a few of my favorite pastimes, and I delight in treating everyone to my culinary creations. I also have a soft spot for plants, and enjoy baseball, NASCAR races, fishing, basketball, and golf.
