Public Service Announcent for all homeowners: If you are doing any remodeling work, even with a licensed contractor, be sure all required city permits have been pulled. We have run into several for-sale listings lately where the owners had electrical, structural or plumbing remodeling done but neither they nor their contractors obtained the proper permits. The retroactive permitting process can be expensive and lengthy and could require opening ceilings and walls. So bottom line, only use licensed contractors and ask to see to copies of all permits (or written confirmation from your city that a permit is not required for that type of work) before any work begins. You must disclose to buyers if unpermitted work was done, and if you don’t there can be serious legal implications.

I've never measured my success in real estate by the number of transactions I've closed or by how much commission I've earned. To me, it's more important that each client receive the best service I can give them and that they have a five star experience all the way through their transaction and after. All that said, I just received notice that my 2025 production places me in the top 2.5% of Austin area REALTORS®, and for that I am grateful to all my clients and to everyone who provides referrals to me.
