Here is a little update on the market my broker sent over today!

“So far, in the past 24 hours- In the Austin Metro area, 143 homes were newly listed for sale (pretty average for a Wednesday, pre- spring break (Thursday is a huge listing day, I’ll update y’all tomorrow) And 168 homes went under contract (pending or pending, taking back up offers) and 7 went under contract with a contingency offer.
In the past 7 days, while all the crazy was happening at the grocery stores, 1190 homes went under contract, and only 952 new listings came on...The sign of a continued strong sellers market as we are still digging into our already record low inventory!!
Interest rates are at an ALL time low, people continue to move to our area in record numbers and those people need homes. (Virus or not, no one wants to live in a cave).😂🤦‍♀️
The real estate market in ATX metro still looks healthy. And if you want to jump in but don’t want to get out, give me or one of my agents a call, we will happily walk you “virtually”
through any available listing you’re interested in!
Our inspector doesn’t even mind when we put him on camera to “walk” you through your home inspection!
