I've gotten a little better at writing in the last couple of years, but today, I feel so inadequate.
Today, I want to express my utmost gratitude to Sheryl Rouse Vicenik with Sheryl Vicenik, Schaible Realty and Debbie Gunn Bailey for ALL that they have done in order to sell Ms. Rosa's house so that she could continue to live comfortably at The Pointe At Cedar Park . A process that we thought would only take a couple of weeks took nine months! During this time, I knew I would not be able to handle the duties of being Ms. Rosa's POA, and balance my family, while publishing my book; so, Debbie graciously accepted the legal responsibilities as POA. She had no idea what the next 6 months would entail...and neither did I. (Sorry, Debbie)! So, Debbie...it is with a heart, FULL OF GRATITUDE, that I say, THANK YOU!!! I pray that the Lord blesses you in MIGHTY, MIGHTY ways for the time and energy you poured into the process...even when you had nothing left to give. God gave you the strength to keep pushing forward, while still fulfilling all your other roles and duties. No one will ever know all the hoops you had to jump through, (besides me, Sheryl and your family), to acquire all the documents necessary for the closing, but God does! He saw and He sees!
And to Sheryl, YOU ARE GOLDEN! I don't know how many realtors would go to the lengths that you went to, to sell this house! Your character and integrity are to be admired. Your steadfastness, your heart for the greater good, and your passion for your ministry, as a realtor, were EVIDENT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!!! You never see dollar marks...you see people's hearts. You could lose money on a deal, and if it pointed people toward Christ, you would do it all again. I cannot say enough about your heart. AND, you have the best marketing in town. (I think another song is due).
So as I knelt down to pray, in a posture of thanksgiving this morning, it's no wonder that I just began to weep! I'm overwhelmed with thanksgiving to God for bringing this process to fruition, and for each of you. It wasn't easy. In fact, it was very difficult. It was an educational process to say the least!
I know a lot of fantastic realtors who are friends. They would all do an amazing job for you. But today, I want to recognize Sheryl Rouse Vicenik for her outstanding work on this one particular project. Sheryl, I love you, sister! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Finally, Ms. Rosa's birthday is coming up at the end of the month. I will be working with The Point to try and arrange some type of parade or special event to celebrate her special day. Stay tuned!
