I have had the pleasure of working with Meghan Andersen, Choice Floors, located in Cedar Rapids, IA., on several properties my clients were selling and buying. Meghan makes an honest presentation to the clients concerning the product and savings she can provide to them. The installers are top notch as well! How good is the program she offers? Choice Floors is in my house, my neighbor’s house, and I will continue to work with her to speak with my clients when they are in need of flooring.

I am working with a client to get their house ready to place on the market. They indicated to me their air conditioning was not working. They said they had a local company come to check it out. The person told them the cost would be $3,000 to replace a piece for the air conditioner. I told them we needed to get a second opinion on what needed to be done. I called Dave Bunch (https://bunchheatingandcooling.com/) because I know he treats people right. He came to the house. Checked things out. Ended up changing the THERMOSTAT! The cost? Labor and installation...$205.00. His labor and time were well beyond just installing the THERMOSTAT.

I have worked with Bunch Heating and Cooling many times over my years as a Realtor. They are always polite, honest, and client friendly.

Before you make a commitment to spend big bucks on your Heating and Air Conditioning needs, please be sure to give them a call.

This recommendation is unsolicited by Dave Bunch. However, I feel I could not let the way he has treated my clients with utmost respect go by unnoticed.

Yesterday, I spent from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. working as a poll worker for CR09 at Lovely Lane Church. ALL poll workers work this amount of time on polling days like yesterday, the election day in November will be even longer because the poll closes an hour later.

We did two hours of setting up the polling place on Monday evening.

I had an enjoyable experience with the two people I was polling with yesterday. It was an experience everyone should take the opportunity to enjoy. There is a great need for poll workers. You can go to: https://www.linncountyiowa.gov/402/Precinct-Election-Official-Online-Applic to complete an application and get more info.

Everything is incredibly detailed. There is an introductory class and then a two-hour training in advance of the polling day.

It is not a volunteer position. One does get paid. It is not a lot, but it is something. Take this time to get involved with your community.

Blessed is what is on my mind. I am so blessed to have two son-in-laws who are wonderful fathers to their children. Thank you Scott and Jeremy. I know you had a wonderful Father’s Day with your children today. Your ability to keep things in perspective has a great affect on your children.

It has been a busy week with the culmination of many weeks of preparation, changes, perseverance, and cooperation for the closing of these three properties in the past week.
