Good Monday Morning! 511ia.org looks apocalyptic at this hour - every state road has impacts with I-35 north closed from Ames to the Minnesota border and I-80 east/west closed from the I-880 Interchange to Iowa City/Coralville.

Northwest to nearly all of eastern Iowa are in "Travel Not Advised" (purple) status. The Blizzard Warning has been extended until 10 a.m.

Roads are sssssslick, winds are ssssstrong, and temps are fffffrigid.

Stay in place unless you have emergency and let crews do their work!

Have you ever picked up the phone and screamed?

Well I did about 30 minutes ago. I’d stopped at Sam’s Club to pick up a few things. Admittedly, I was distracted by calls & messages but on my power walk to get home.

Get outside. You guys, it’s freezing. I swear we had 3 of 4 seasons today.

In my rush to get back into SnowWhite and back on a call, I left my wallet. A very nice woman grabbed it, turned it in to customer service and they called. I screamed. I hadn’t realized I’d left it. Back to Sam’s I go. So many bad things could’ve happened but ya know what? Nothing did. Just a returned wallet.

Be the good in the world. Pay it forward when you can, however you can. We can all tend to be hurried these days. Thankful for honesty & Iowa Nice.

And congrats to my sellers who’ve also had a really good day!
