🕺Funky Fact Friday🕺

🎤It’s my last week rocking the mic on Tyler’s page! But don’t fret, because the party’s just getting started! You’ll catch more of us spreading sunshine and real estate magic on Tyler and Cody’s real estate pages!🎤

🎶Speaking of microphones, last Saturday, friends and I hit up the Pork Tornadoes concert! 🐷🌪️ We were living our VIP dreams, singing our hearts out and busting moves like nobody’s business! (Bonus points if you can find me in the band selfie) 🎶

📸💫And can we talk about the amazing Alisabeth Von Presley who kicked off the night? She’s a total rockstar, and yes, I totally fangirled and snagged a pic with her! 📸💫

🕺🏻Funky Fact Friday 🕺🏻

🏀 Let’s talk sports!🏀

💛Let’s face it, it’s not usually my go-to topic... But hey, this year I’ve been watching Iowa women’s basketball! 🖤

⚽️ Back in high school, I was a double threat – hitting the trails for cross country and “tearing up” the soccer field. While I may not have been destined for the Hall of Fame, I was all about trying new things and giving it my all. 🏃

🏃 Junior year was my time to shine in Cross Country – I cut a whopping ten minutes off my time and earned the title of most improved runner! Senior year, Tyler joined the fun and, of course, had to outdo me. 🏆

⚽️ Then there was the soccer saga. Thanks to Tyler’s persuasion, I took a shot at soccer and, well, let’s just say I always kept the joke alive that “I started.” Even though I started JV and not varsity – details, details! 😉⚽️

🏅 But here’s the thing: whether it’s sports or life, I’m all about growth. From barely being able to kick a ball to snagging a starting spot, every challenge fuels my drive to learn, improve, and lend a hand to others along the way. 🏅

🕺🏻Funky Fact Friday 🕺🏻

📢Let’s talk careers! 📢

🎄What did you want to be when you “grew up?” When I was little, I wanted to be a Christmas tree decorator. (Who knows what young me thought I was going to do the other 11 months of the year..)🎄

🚑When I was in high school, my aspirations turned towards the medical field. So, after graduation, I enrolled at Luther College as a pre-med student. (Tyler and I still argue about who followed whom to Luther.)🚑

😷After my first dissection, it became clear that the medical field wasn’t for me. My admiration goes out to all the incredible healthcare workers out there—your stomachs are far stronger than mine.😷

👗Following a binge-watch of Project Runway, coupled with networking and research, I found myself drawn to the fashion industry. I made the leap my sophomore year, transferring to the University of Northern Iowa to pursue degrees in Textile & Apparel and Business Management.👗

🏡Today, I find myself at yet another fresh start. And while my career trajectory may seem inconsistent, there’s always been one common denominator: the desire to help people feel better. Whether it’s through the cheer of a Christmas tree, the confidence of the perfect outfit, or the joy of finding a dream home, I’m grateful for every opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives.🏡
