Often times for showings, you’ll see me show up like this. Birkenstocks. Jeans. A top of some sort. rI’m not showing up in a pant suit or a dress or something more “professional”. My dad once said to me “that’s how you go on showings?” He was a suit and tie kind of guy. Another time, at a showing, an older Realtor (in her pantsuit) looked at my buyers and I said “which one of you is the Realtor?” As I spoke up, she looked me up and down, scoffed, and handed me the key. The point of this? Just because I show up in this, doesn’t mean I’m not professional. It doesn’t mean I can’t do my job. I’ve fallen in backyards on showings because there was a steep hill. I’ve crawled in crawl spaces so my clients didn’t have to. And you should see some of the basements I’ve encountered. This is how I do my job. This is what makes me a good Realtor. Not the clothes I wear. So if you’re interested in working with a casual, cool, doesn’t care to get dirty Realtor who won’t judge, you know what to do! 👇🏼
