Who cares about the strip outlet tucked under your island overhang?

We do.

It’s a small detail, but it keeps outlets off the face of the cabinetry and helps maintain a cleaner, more intentional look. These are the little decisions that can make a big difference in a finished space.

Labor Day always feels like the unofficial turning of the page. The kids head back to school. Calendars fill up. Summer projects wind down. And suddenly, home becomes the center of everyday life again.

It’s a good reminder of just how much the spaces we live in matter: the kitchen counter that doubles as homework central, the mudroom trying to contain backpacks and shoes, and the places where everyone reconnects at the end of the day.

Here’s to a great school year, a well-earned Labor Day, and homes that work beautifully for real life.

Half-round gutters and round downspouts aren’t the right fit for every home, but on this exterior remodel, they added another layer of timeless detail that really elevates the finished look.

It’s a great example of how thoughtful architectural details can make an exterior renovation feel intentional, cohesive, and completely transformed!

This morning, during a bid walkthrough, our team encountered something unexpected—a basement that was actively taking on water.

Rather than leaving the homeowner to figure it out on her own, our team immediately stepped in. We identified the source of the problem, put a temporary solution in place, and coordinated with a restoration company to begin drying out the basement this afternoon.

There are still a few items that will need to be addressed to create a permanent solution, but I couldn’t be prouder of how quickly our team responded.

Building and remodeling homes is only part of what we do. At Blue Harmony Homes, we believe our job is to solve problems, take care of our clients, and step up when they need us most.

Strong spaces for strong communities. 💪 We recently wrapped up work on the new Burn Boot Camp- Cedarburg, WI, helping bring their vision for a high-energy, functional fitness space to life.

Commercial construction may look a little different from the homes we’re known for, but the approach is the same: thoughtful planning, quality craftsmanship, and attention to the details that make a space work for the people who use it.
