I always say "it's never too early" to meet up, and Matt and Alyssa took me up on it! Their friends Bethany and Chris introduced us after selling their home, and we laid the groundwork early. We hopped into a buyer consultation to educate them on the process and getting prepped for when the time was right. After jumping back into the market earlier this year, we looped in Matt Lane as a showing assistant, wrote multiple offers, and finally got under contract on their adorable home here in Greendale.

Years ago, I've helped Ken's grandparents relocate here to Port Washington through my connection with Julie and Tom Lanham and our time at Vineyard Church here in Grafton. Incredible people, wonderful congregation that knows how to do community and show the love of Jesus to others on a deep level.

John Rozek and I met with Ken to discuss the building process, how Rosie and I built our home, the differences between buying a spec home on market, 'custom' building with a spec builder, or going full custom. We then toured multiple model and in progress homes in his price range to see the pros/cons and which of those various builders, and/or homes & locations would be a good fit for his specific needs. During that stage of the process, even before meeting with potential builders (which is the usual next step in the process), Ken fell in love this coming soon model home that backed up to a private view of the community waterfront and a patch of established trees, all with a lower level walkout that could easily be finished down the road.

Through some persuasive communication, we were able to get the property, that wasn't for sale, under contract before it was even publicly marketed and got a great deal with the appliances and blinds already installed and included - saving Ken thousands in the process (ask us how we know - those finishes aren't cheap!).
----
John and I walked through Ken's home, came up with a market analysis and launch price & plan, and in one weekend attracted 9 strong offers resulting in not just a great price, but also the ideal terms and closing/occupancy timelines required to get the final stages of this new construction home ready for Ken to move in.
----
