Ever wonder what really goes into a home inspection? Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at a typical day in the field with Grizzly.
Early Start
The day starts early. Before most people finish their first cup of coffee, we’re already reviewing the property details, confirming access, and making sure our equipment is ready to go.
On Site & Getting to Work
Once we arrive, it’s go time. A full home inspection isn’t just a quick walkthrough — we’re methodically evaluating the home from top to bottom:
✔ Roof and exterior
✔ Attic, insulation, and ventilation
✔ Electrical systems
✔ Plumbing and water heater
✔ HVAC system
✔ Foundation and structure
✔ Appliances and more
If it’s ordered, we’re also setting radon monitors, collecting water samples, or running sewer scopes.
Documenting Everything
We take a large number of photos and notes during the inspection. Every finding — big or small — gets documented so our clients have a clear picture of the home’s condition.
Client Walkthrough, One of the most important parts of the job is education. We take time to explain what we found, answer questions, and help buyers understand what matters now vs. what to simply keep an eye on.
Same-Day Reporting
After leaving the property, the work isn’t done. We finalize a detailed, easy-to-read report so our clients can move forward with confidence.
Why It Matters...
At Grizzly Home Inspections, we know buying a home is a big deal. Our job is to give you clear, honest information so there are no surprises after closing.
