Lori, was born in and grew up until high school in Kansas. We were delighted when we were able to move to Colorado in 1990 and now... "we arn't in Kansas anymore!" We figured, we must be in OZ. When most people think of OZ, they think of "The Wizard of OZ"; a story about a girl in Kansas learning important lessons of life while taking an imaginary trip to the city of OZ with the help of her dog, T
oto, and three unlikely friends; a Scarecrow, a Cowardly Lion and a Tinman. Dorothy, along with her friends seek the Wizard of OZto help them find something each of wanted. The Wizard helps them on their qwest and they all find what they wanted. Of course they had what they desired all along, but they just had to recognize it. Dorothy discovered maybe the most important thing: that "There's no place like home". When Dorothy was in the land of OZ, she commented to Toto, "We aren't in Kansas anymore". That is just how John, Yvonne and Lori feel about living in Colorado, one of the most beautiful places on earth. When you think of the story of "The Wizard of OZ", there are many ideas that come to mind such as: "Somewhere Over the Rainbow..., There's a Place that You Dream Of" and of course "There's No Place Like Home". Not to mention "Brains", "Heart", "Courage" and "Faith". Secondly, in a more contemporary light, most of us have used a "Wizard" when we install or use a computer program. The term has become synonymous with "helping". Team OZ can help you through your real estate transactions much like a computer wizard. Lori Oceans – Real Estate Consultant & Investment Specialist: Lori Joined Team OZ in 2010 as a team assistant and caught the real estate “bug”. After completing her associates’ degrees for Pharmacy Technician and Medical Coding, she hit the books again to get her real estate license. As of March of 2013, Lori is a fully licensed Realtor® with more experience than most agents with 2 years of experience. She excels in searching the market for real estate that meets our clients’ needs, analyzing the potential investment opportunities and working with clients to create a profitable plan for their projects. July 1st, 2015 Lori became the Owner of Team OZ. She is taking what John and Yvonne have built and is putting her own touch while providing outstanding service. In her spare time she enjoys her twin Cambodian cats (country where they were born, not breed) and working on her vintage Mustang. John came to the real estate field with a background in architecture, construction and development. John brings with him years of experience developing keen skills in working with people, learning their needs and wants, creating a plan and ultimately helping them meet their needs and wants. Providing buyers and sellers with friendly, caring, knowledgeable guidance through a real estate transaction, minimizing the stress and maximizing the enjoyment is what he enjoys most. John loves to explore Colorado, spend time with his family . Yvonne Anderson - Retired. In 2002 when Telecommunications slowed down Yvonne got her Real Estate license along with her husband John. She has worked hard developing her expertise in residential and investment properties by attending classes and actively investing. Her enjoyment of working with people, matching client?s needs to the available properties is a great asset to the team. She enjoys being Grandma with 2 children and 5 grandchildren in the Dallas, Texas area.
