WASHINGTON PARK WEST: What If You Want the Best of Both Worlds?

Some buyers love the idea of living near Washington Park but also want restaurants, coffeehouses, fitness studios, and a little more neighborhood activity close to home. That's what makes Washington Park West so interesting to me. You get beautiful established homes, access to one of Denver's signature parks, and the energy of South Broadway nearby.

After nearly 20 years helping people buy and sell homes in Denver, I've learned that location within a neighborhood can matter just as much as the neighborhood itself. Two homes just a few blocks apart can offer very different lifestyles. One might be closer to the park, another closer to restaurants and nightlife, and another tucked away on a quieter residential street. My advice? Before falling in love with a house, make sure you understand the life you'll be living around it.

SOUTH PARK HILL. What If You Want Denver Without the Hurry?

Some people want to live right in the middle of everything Denver has to offer. Others want to be close to all that activity but come home to a quieter street, mature trees, and a neighborhood that feels a little more settled. That's one of the things I find interesting about South Park Hill. Classic brick homes, beautiful established blocks, and City Park nearby give this neighborhood a personality all its own.

After nearly 20 years helping people buy and sell homes in the Denver metro area, one thing I've learned is that the house is only part of the decision. The block, the neighboring properties, the traffic, and the feeling you get when you step outside your front door can make a tremendous difference in how much you enjoy living there. My advice? Don't just tour the house. Tour the 500 feet around it.
