Closing day is exciting—you’re finally at the finish line! 🏡🎉 But one question buyers often have is, “How do I actually pay the money I need at closing?”

Your title company and lender will give you instructions for the final amount and acceptable payment method, typically a wire transfer or cashier’s check.

⚠️ One VERY important reminder: Wire fraud is real. Never trust wiring instructions sent unexpectedly by email. Always verify instructions directly with the title company using a trusted phone number before sending any money.

A few extra minutes of verification can protect a very big investment!

Depending on the plan, a home warranty can help with certain covered appliances and systems after you move in—and it may even be something we can negotiate during the contract process. 🔑

There are lots of little details that go into a real estate contract. My job is to make sure we talk about the ones that could matter to you!

Here’s a little real estate knowledge to start your day! 🏡

As you get closer to buying a home, you’ll receive something called a Closing Disclosure. This document gives you the final details of your loan, including what you’ll need to bring to closing and a breakdown of where that money is going.

And hopefully—no surprises! 🙌 Your lender should be helping you understand these costs throughout the process.

Buying a home comes with a lot of paperwork, but you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I’m here to help along the way!

Here’s a little real estate knowledge to go with your morning coffee. ☕️ When buying a home, you’ll hear the words “title policy” somewhere along the way—but what exactly does that mean?

The title company researches the property for liens or other issues that could affect ownership, and title insurance provides protection against certain covered title problems.

There are a lot of moving pieces in a real estate transaction, and part of my job is helping you understand what’s happening along the way!
