HEY THERE, Central Point and the Rogue Valley! WE ARE thinking about petitioning to have the name of 'East Pine Street' changed to 'Great Wine Street'. Just kidding, of course, but exciting wine news continues to develop for our amazing Historic Downtown Central Point.
The 3rd Annual Spring Rogue Valley Lions Club Wine Walk (this will actually be their 6th Biannual Wine Walk) will be next Saturday, May 30th from 4:00 to 7:30 PM. The check-in/meeting place will be at 300 East Pine Street (previously the Banner Bank) in the heart of Downtown. More and more popular each time, details including tickets sales for this Spring Wine Walk can be found at www.roguevalleylions.org or on their page, Rogue Valley Lions Club.
Other important Wine news – Ryan Rose Wine is celebrating Memorial Day Weekend at their new tasting room at 251 East Pine (the northwest corner of 3rd Street and East Pine Street), with $5.00 glass pours of their amazing Sauvignon Blanc Blend 5 (https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1586522886813495&set=a.452335636898898).
And we are pleased to say (we hope we are not letting the ‘cab’ out of the bag) that the previous Connie’s Barber Shop space, next to Crater Cafe and Volamos Boutique, will soon be a tasting room for Red Hills Cellars (https://www.facebook.com/RedHillsCellarsWinery).
Oh, yes, and let’s not forget (though not technically downtown), our other Central Point wineries, like Hummingbird Estate, who is participating in the aforementioned Wine Walk, and our friends at Local Vines Wine Bar at Twin Creeks.
CHEERS to all! For future downtown Central Point news, like and follow us, Pine Street Property Holding.
