How much is my house worth?

I get asked this question almost every day. The answer is always the same…

It depends.

Many factors must be taken into consideration before a proper answer can be given.

Some of these factors are:

- Recent sale prices of similar homes in your neighbourhood

- Are you planning on making upgrades to your home?

- The condition of the home and conveyances

- The general situation of the real estate market

Too often I see homeowners relying on what 1-click internet tools say their home is worth.

Anyone that gives you a price for your home without seeing it and doing actual research is giving you false information.

You see, having a clear understanding of what your home would (or could) sell for is really important.

It could be way more than you would’ve thought.

Or… it could be way less than what you’d expect.

If you want to know how much your home is REALLY worth, I’ve found the best course of action is to set up a meeting with a local real estate agent you believe to have expert knowledge of your neighborhood.

Born in New Jersey, I spent most of my time moving all over the country.

I have lived in almost every part, from Massachusetts to California and Illinois to Texas.

I attended Seton Hall University majoring in Business Administration.

After college, I stayed in the DMV area working in luxury retail for over 25 years.

In luxury retail, I learned how to communicate with clients and the importance of following up with their desires. I learned how to have serious conversations, but to keep an empathetic mindset. Most importantly, I learned how to meet my clients expectations in a humble, yet satisfying way.

I always had a passion and knowledge of real estate. I decided to become a real estate agent so I could shift my focus on things I truly love; helping people, community, and golfing.

So I decided to add my learnings from luxury retail to create a unique client experience in buying or selling a home.

Today, I am focused on helping people in the Dulles area buy their first home or sell their home with empathy.
