We are proud to announce our 2026 REALTOR of the Year recipient: Brynn Bird of Gateway Real Estate Solutions MTP Group, Sturgis.

Brynn is an active member of SJCAR, participating in SJCAR's annual Red Cross Blood Drive and Centreville Hometown Christmas. Brynn is on the Board of Directors at Habitat for Humanity and a member of the Family Selection Committee for Habitat. Brynn is also on the CTE Advisory Committee for St Joseph County and a committee member for the Pathfinder Education Center's Operation Reindeer Outreach. Brynn received the Community Outreach/Charity Involvement award from SJCAR in 2025. We look forward to having Brynn represent SJCAR at the Michigan Realtors Convention and Expo at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in September.

And the 2026 Blood Drive WINNER is...
Berkshire Hathaway Home Services!!! We'll be sure to post pictures when they are presented the traveling trophy. We'd also like to recognize Century 21 Affiliated, RE/MAX Elite Group, and Gateway Real Estate Solutions for being in our top 4!
Thank you to everyone that donated, tried to donate or just stopped in to say 'hi'. We are grateful for the support from our brokerages, Affiliate members and the public in general (which were our biggest group of donors again this year). Together we collected 22 blood donations and were able to help save 66 lives!

DON'T FORGET TO SIGN UP TO DONATE!

We are 7 appointments away from our goal for this year's Blood Drive! So if you planned to donate but haven't made your appointment, do it TODAY! Walk-Ins will be welcome but we want to be sure the Red Cross brings adequate staff to prevent long wait times.

There is an URGENT NEED for blood donations so to sweeten the deal we are doing a drawing for tickets to Six Flags! Everyone that donates will be included in 3 drawings for a 4-pk of Six Flags tickets.

So far in the brokerage competition, Berkshire Hathaway is in the lead with RE/MAX Elite Group in second place but that can all change by tomorrow! Who will take home that lovely GOAT trophy?

We are so excited to be distributing relief checks for the March 6th tornado victims! 6 applicants have received relief checks from our Realtor Relief Foundation grant so far.

As a reminder, grant applications need to be received by today (June 16th) to be processed by our June 19th deadline.

SJCAR is excited to announce available funds for St Joseph County tornado victims!

The REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF) has provided $70,000 in disaster relief aid to Michigan REALTORS®. The funds will support three local Michigan REALTORS® Associations in southwest Michigan-St Joseph County Association of Realtors, Branch County Association of Realtors and Southwest Michigan Association of Realtors. Funds will be made available to disaster victims of the tornadoes that devastated Edwardsburg, Three Rivers and Union City on March 6th, 2026. Victims can receive up to $1,000 for housing payments as relief and recovery efforts continue.

The application will be available to download from our website later this week. Applications can be picked up in person at the following locations:
-St. Joseph County Association of Realtors, 150 W Main St, Centreville
-Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, 1200 N Main St, Three Rivers
-Century 21 Affiliated, 1103 W Michigan Ave, Three Rivers
