🌟 Still riding the high from Mega Agent Camp… and wow, I needed this. 🌟

This week I had the privilege of joining thousands of agents from all over the country for Keller Williams’ Mega Agent Camp — and I don’t say this lightly… it was one of the most energizing, perspective-shifting experiences I’ve had in my career.

It wasn’t just about sales scripts, lead generation, or market trends (though, yes, we dove into all of that). It was about human connection. About the why behind what we do.

I listened to agents who started with nothing and built something extraordinary — not because they were “lucky,” but because they cared deeply about serving people, stayed consistent when no one was watching, and kept showing up even when it was hard.

I was reminded that real estate isn’t just about houses. It’s about helping a family start their next chapter. Being a steady hand when someone’s world feels uncertain. Showing up for the community in ways that go beyond a transaction.

One speaker said something that stuck with me:

“If you want to grow a big business, grow a bigger heart.”

That hit me. Because the truth is, I didn’t get into this business for the trophies or the titles. I got into it after my own life took a hard left turn — military service cut short by injury, followed by a battle with pancreatic cancer. Those moments taught me what really matters: time, relationships, and the ability to help others find stability in a world that often feels anything but stable.

Leaving Mega Agent Camp, I’m more committed than ever to bringing that mindset back to Effingham. This isn’t just about being the best realtor in the room — it’s about making sure the people in this community know they’ve got someone in their corner, whether they’re buying, selling, or just figuring out what comes next.

So here’s my promise:
I’m going to take everything I learned, pair it with my own grit and heart, and make sure our little corner of Illinois has access to the very best in real estate service.
