First, do your research. You can find a lot of reviews about different home inspectors online. Doing your own research can help you evaluate if a home inspector is credible and trustworthy.

Second, check if the inspector is properly licensed, insured, and bonded. This will ensure that they will be held liable in case they miss something during the inspection.
