Where my cooks at!? Time for some real talk.

Truthfully? I've never liked my kitchen. I don't like the cabinets,❌ I don't like the way it's designed❌, I don't like the fixtures.❌

But none of those things affect the love that goes into the food I cook there, to feed the people I love. For as long as I can remember, food has been my love language - a trait that has traveled through generations of my family. ❤️

So whether it's in a kitchen that I love, or a kitchen that I hate, the food is made from the deepest part of my soul. Where the deepest love lives. 😘

So next time you're thinking you don't like your kitchen... just remember that the food you're cooking there, is speaking a silent language of love to the ones you care for.

Real estate found me at a weird point in my life. My restaurant was closed for Covid - 2 weeks to flatten the curve, remember? 🙄

And as much as I was loving staying home and homesteading, gardening, and doing the math of how long I could keep paying my employees and vendors with no income 🫨- my mind was yearning for new stimulation.

My dad was hoping to sell my great grandmother's home in Tuscola, a home that I dearly loved, and that's when I had the idea to get my real estate license. It would solve ✌️problems. My brain would get to read and study and develop new skills, and my dad would have someone who appreciated every inch of the house to be able to appropriately tell its story and sell it.

I loved it right away, and I've been loving it ever since. 🩵

The mystery of how you price your home can simply be SOLVED. Honestly, you will want to take these 3️⃣ things into consideration:

⚡️Location: Can you walk to your local elementary school? Is the crime rate low? Easy access to the interstate? These kind of factors have a huge impact on your home’s value!

⚡️Condition: Is your home updated or a fixer upper? 🛠️ When buyers have to factor in renovating costs, that can affect the value of your home. You can sell a home that needs some work, but listing it appropriately is key!

⚡️Comparable sales: Look for homes that have sold recently, in close proximity, and that are similar to the home you have! Pay attention to this data. 📈
