Picture it May2020, Champaign, IL. We are at the beginning of the COVID lockdown and the maintenance company that Neves Group Property Management had been using since the beginning decided to close its doors unexpectedly. I thought, sure, no problem, I can find someone to do this work for Neves. How hard can it possibly be? Wrong. Prices and minimums were too high. The owners were complaining, I was scrambling, stressing and spinning my wheels trying to figure out what to do. Then one day, the light bulb went off and I realized that I have been running a successful property management business for 22 years. Why in the hell could I not run a successful maintenance company? Within the day I had a new LLC in process, contacted my insurance agent and put an ad on indeed. I started hiring and Black Diamond Rentals was born on Oct 15, 2020. We have grown from just a couple of techs to averaging 10+ depending on the time of the year. My mission for my Black Diamond staff is that they enjoy coming to work, they feel supported and they remember their family life is way more important that any job. In return I ask for quality work, honesty and loyalty.

👀 We’re looking for dependable, experienced cleaners to join our team!

⏰ This is a part-time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week, with most work scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Some evening and weekend hours may also be available.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

✅ Is self-motivated and comfortable working independently

✅Takes pride in a job well done

✅Is dependable, detail-oriented, and driven to do excellent work

✅Has a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance

Job Responsibilities

🫧Clean apartments and homes after residents move out and prepare them for the next resident

🫧Clean common areas in apartment buildings

🫧Clean office spaces and other properties as needed

Pay & Benefits

💸 Starting pay: $18–$20/hour, based on experience
💸 Mileage reimbursement
💸Paid holidays

👀 We’re looking for dependable, experienced maintenance techs to join our team!

⏰ This is a full-time position averaging approximately 35-40 hours per week, with most work scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Some evening and weekend hours will also be available.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

✅ Is self-motivated and comfortable working independently or with a team

✅Is dependable, detail-oriented, and driven to do excellent work

Job Responsibilities
🔧Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance in apartments, homes, and common areas.

🪛Complete assigned work orders efficiently and document completed work.

🪚Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including repairs, touch-ups, inspections, and punch-list items.

Pay & Benefits

💸 Starting pay: Payed based on experience
💸 Mileage reimbursement
💸Paid holidays
