It is Place Of Mine’s goal to change the apartment search process and the type of information that is given about an apartment. At Place Of Mine, we are trying to create a bigger picture of apartment listings that include the four perspectives of 1. objective POM scores 3. resident reviews and opinions and 4. the community perspective. With the collaboration with URoar, a landlord and apartment review site created for University campuses, we are able to integrate ratings and reviews from a user perspective to the apartment search process. Signing a lease is like getting into a long term relationship with your landlord and apartment, so why should your decision be based on just one person’s information?
