They provide listings and information that the landlord provides through paid listings, and ultimately only allowing one point-of-view when it comes to the information presented. It is Place Of Mine’s goal to change the apartment search process and the type of information that is given about an apartment. At Place Of Mine, we are trying to create a bigger picture of apartment listings that include

the four perspectives of 1. objective POM scores 3. resident reviews and opinions and 4. the community perspective. With the collaboration with URoar, a landlord and apartment review site created for University campuses, we are able to integrate ratings and reviews from a user perspective to the apartment search process. Signing a lease is like getting into a long term relationship with your landlord and apartment, so why should your decision be based on just one person’s information?
