This belated happy birthday is going out to my amazing Husband. He has been blessed with 32 years on this Earth, and I have only been grated a few of those amazing years filled with travel, getting married, purchasing our home, adopting a new puppy, and soon to be welcoming our baby girl into this world.

You are always striving to be the best man and godly husband that God has called you to be. You are always serving me selflessly, as your wife, and looking ahead at providing for our future family. I am so blessed to have you as my husband.

I know that I don't tell you how much that I truly appreciate you. The days go by fast and the years even faster, and I know there have been days where you have gone without a thank you from me (but never without an 'I love you'). You and your efforts never go unnoticed. Sometimes I only point out what needs to he done or what is lacking, and I don't spend enough time marveling at all that you've done.

I know as the birthday boy you are to get the wish, but I want to make a wish today too. My wish is that I am a fraction of the wife to you compared to the husband that you are to me.

Happy 1 year Anniversary Mitch ❤️ This photo sums up the type of love that you bring to our marriage every single day. Strong, Caring, Gentle, Forgiving, Accepting, Selfless, and Forever.

At first, I was scared of marriage, because I didn't know what lay beyond the "I dos". You hear stories of things being perfect until the day after where reality comes crashing down.

With you, this fear isn't present. Confidence, trust, loyalty, acceptance, forgiveness, understanding, and reconciliation have replaced this fear.

Now, the only fear I have is that the Lord takes you before me.

But today, I won't ponder on that thought. Today, I celebrate us and how our love has grown, so much, that we felt the only next logical step was to start a family. Our overflow of love for each other will be poured over our baby girl in less than a month.

I can hardly wait to see what the rest of our forever holds as we continue to grow and our love overflows year over year.
