Eviction Moratorium:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced the issuance of an Order under Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act to temporarily halt residential evictions to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.

Because EO 20-79 creates a greater level of public health protection, the Minnesota state order overrides the CDC order unless 20-79 terminates. Below links to a chart that breaks down the state vs. the CDC order, and includes links to state and county websites that may offer emergency rental assistance.

So, I keep hearing people saying their employer says they won't be back in the office until next Spring or Summer, if at all. If you're feeling like this guy, maybe you're needing a separate office area, at home, or maybe you realize that you don't have to live so close to downtown anymore. Well, the further from the core of the Twin Cities, the more house and/or land you can buy for the same price. Plus, with interest rates, in the 2's and 3's, now just might be the time. While I haven't updated this page for a long time, I'm still loving and very active in real estate. In the last 2-weeks, I have had the honor of bringing Alison & Mo , Jason & Samantha and & Natalya, each to the closing table for at least a new home and a sale of the old home for two of them.
